Flying.

OK, so today was the very first day of our ‘epic journey’ (and we mean ‘Epic’) but today was no better than any days spent packing before. We spent most of the day flying, driving, packing, waiting, or sleeping. Just great. On the airplane I really just wanted to get up and run around, jump up and down, or be back at home in my backyard doing flips on the rings. Sometimes I wonder why it takes 7 hours to fly to Tampa, Florida and there are no direct flights. On the interesting side, however, I got to meet a woman with two twins heading to Louisiana. One of my many discoveries during the flight was that time has no meaning when one sleeps.

While at the airport in Houston, Texas, we waited for our delayed flight and observed about 20-30 people running to their plane. That poor flight to San Francisco must have been terribly delayed. One of the very last people trying to catch the plane was a catholic priest in black button up robes. He didn’t seem to quite be able to run in them.

Our gate was switched and our plane was delayed, so we arrived in Tampa, Florida about 11:21 at night. I really hate delayed flights. Luckily, it wasn’t too delayed. Only 30 minutes or so. In the process, Jeliya invented a new language. I am ‘Bri-chu’, she’s ‘Jelly-pu’, there is also ‘momu’ and ‘dadu’. Also, ‘Ivyshu’, ‘Avanu’, and ‘Lucu’. Don’t forget ‘Cookiechu’ with ‘Stormyu’, our cats.

You could’ve pulled the “oh, sorry I bumped into you, wait, you just like my friend/family member/ teacher/ thing, can I take a pic to show them?” Hahahaha
